Get a tidy PDF
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| PDF is too big to upload | Compress the photos first, or run the PDF through the PDF Compressor |
| Photos are iPhone HEIC files | Convert them to JPG first with HEIC to JPG |
| A page is sideways | Fix it afterwards with the PDF Rotator |
| Pages in the wrong order | Use the arrows before creating the PDF |
Photographing documents well
Lay the page flat in good daylight, hold the phone straight above it and fill the frame. Avoid the flash, it causes glare. A clean photo makes a far more readable PDF than any fix afterwards.
Tips
Phone photos are large. Shrink them with the Image Compressor first for a much smaller PDF.
Need only part of an existing PDF instead? Use the PDF Splitter.
