Step by step
- Open the Image Format Converter and add your WebP files.
- Choose JPG for photos, or PNG if the image has a transparent background.
- Adjust quality if you like. 90 is a safe default for JPG.
- Press Convert images and download them one by one or as a ZIP.
Which format to convert to
| Format | Transparency | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| JPG | No (becomes a solid color) | Photos, uploads, printing |
| PNG | Yes | Logos, screenshots, cut outs |
| WebP | Yes | Websites, small files |
| AVIF | Yes | Smallest files on modern browsers |
What happens to transparency?
JPG cannot store see through areas, so transparent parts are filled with a solid color. If your WebP is a logo or a cut out, choose PNG to keep the transparency.

Why do websites use WebP?
WebP files are usually 25 to 35 percent smaller than JPGs of similar quality, so pages load faster.
Does converting WebP to JPG lose quality?
A little, because JPG is lossy. At quality 90 the difference is very hard to see.
Can I convert many files at once?
Yes, 5 at a time on the free plan with a button for the next batch, or unlimited with Pro.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Conversion happens in your browser on your own device.
